Demonstrating exceptional emergency response and advanced surgical expertise, the medical team at IQ City Medical College Hospital successfully saved the life of a 27-year-old patient who suffered critical, life-threatening injuries in a severe motorcycle accident. Case Overview The patient, Devanjan Bagdi, was rushed to the IQ City Emergency Room in an extremely critical state after his motorcycle collided with a pole at high speed. Medical evaluations revealed severe trauma, including: Severe Head and Brain Injury: Deep wounds extending to the skull bone alongside brain trauma. Complex Fractures: Multiple fractures across the forehead, left nasal region, and upper jaw. Facial and Eye Trauma: Severe trauma to the left eye causing the eyeball to dislodge, alongside deep injury marks near the right eye. Additional Wounds: Severe lacerations on the left side of the face, chin, and right forearm. Swift Medical Intervention Recognizing the life-threatening nature of the injuries, the emergency department team acted immediately. The patient was admitted under the Swasthya Sathi scheme, and preliminary stabilization began without delay. Emergency doctors cleaned and sutured severe head and facial wounds to control bleeding, placing the patient on ventilator support.
